Privacy policy
This page explains, in plain English, what happens to the information you give us on HonestCareIndia. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Quote and contact form: the details you type in, such as name, email, home country, city, the treatment you're interested in, reports or imaging you mention, your notes, and the address of the page you sent the form from.
- Emails you send us, and anything you choose to attach.
- Basic technical data that any web server or hosting provider records, such as IP address and browser type in server logs.
We don't ask for payment details, and we don't sell your information.
How the form works
Our forms are processed by Web3Forms, a form-to-email service. When you press send, your details go to Web3Forms and are forwarded to our inbox. Web3Forms handles that data under its own privacy policy.
How we use it
- To reply to you.
- To prepare a quote request, if you asked for one.
- To fix errors you report on the site.
We don't use your details for marketing lists or unrelated emails.
When we share it
We only share your details, reports or imaging with a hospital or clinic in India after you've agreed to it, and only what's needed for them to prepare an estimate. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep form messages and emails only as long as we need them to deal with your request and any follow-up, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that's wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop using it, or withdraw consent you gave us to share it with a hospital or clinic (this won't undo sharing that already happened).
These reflect rights under laws such as the UK GDPR and Canada's PIPEDA. To make a request, use the contact form or reply to any email we've sent you. We aim to respond within one month. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority, for example the ICO in the UK or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Cookies
We don't set advertising or tracking cookies on this site. Our hosting provider may use technical cookies or logs needed to deliver the site securely.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
