If you're in the UK and looking at India, you're usually self-funding: an implant the NHS won't cover, a knee or hip operation you'd rather not wait for, or IVF your area won't fund. These guides put India's published 2026 prices in pounds and set them next to UK private fees, without pretending the NHS has vanished.
